Severity Model¶
- Sev-1: major outage or data integrity risk.
- Sev-2: significant degradation with workaround.
- Sev-3: minor impact and no immediate revenue risk.
Response Flow¶
- Detect and triage.
- Assign incident commander.
- Stabilize service.
- Communicate status updates.
- Resolve and verify.
- Publish post-incident review.
Owner-Facing Communication¶
For Sev-1 and Sev-2 incidents, provide updates with:
- impact summary,
- expected recovery timeline,
- mitigation actions,
- and preventive follow-up plan.
